Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your access to and use of our website, www.osus.online.

These terms become binding by agreeing to comply with the terms and conditions related to your use of www.osus.online.

Please also read our Privacy Policy, which will be deemed to have been read and agreed to if you agree to use the site.

The products offered on www.osus.online are provided to you by Osus Home, an online store registered in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, subject to the laws of Dammam and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”).

We will update the terms and conditions regularly as required. Please check back from time to time to see any new additions uploaded. No prior notice will be issued before any modifications or additions to the terms and conditions stated here. The latest updated terms and conditions shall be considered complete and final.

The use of www.osus.online, whether by registered or unregistered users, is assumed to be in agreement with the following:

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you also agree to the Privacy Policy, Security Policy, Delivery Policy, Return Policy, Sales Terms, and all other terms and conditions stated herein.

It is agreed that www.osus.online is not responsible for any losses resulting from:

– Any misuse of the site.

– Unauthorized access to the transmission or data used while using www.osus.online.

We reserve the right to terminate registration with www.osus.online without prior notice and without a valid reason. Generally, this is only when there is a breach of the terms or in cases of account inactivity for a long period, which will be 6 months from the date of the last purchase transaction. www.osus.online shall not be responsible for the cancellation of any of these registrations and accounts.

www.osus.online shall not be used by customers for their own commercial purposes. Reproduction of the content on the website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, page layouts, or designs, including any patents and trademarks appearing on www.osus.online, is not permitted.

www.osus.online may withdraw/change prices for any product or service listed/offered on the website to its customers when it deems it necessary without any prior notice whatsoever.

Osus Home, at its discretion, may operate, modify, suspend, or allow any individual or entity to operate, modify, or suspend ads and promotion of any product or service on www.osus.online.

Any external links on www.osus.online are not endorsed by www.osus.online and are not within its responsibility.

Registration is not necessarily required to purchase on www.osus.online or to comment on the company’s blogs. If you register, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older or using the site under legal supervision.

All registered guests/customers will strive to keep their login details secure. If anyone is at risk, they will immediately notify www.osus.online. It is the responsibility of the guest to protect their account details. www.osus.online shall not be liable for any losses or bear any responsibility arising from any such violations booking from www.osus.online

To the extent legally permissible, the company makes no representation that we will meet the guests’ requirements regarding the product information provided and/or the product itself. The information provided on the website is free of errors, and any inaccurate information will be corrected use of the www.osus.online blog forum and comments.

By contributing to our blog forum and comments or any other interactive content on the website, guests agree and confirm the following:

Installation

• The installation area must be completely free of furniture, and Osus Home is not responsible for any damage or loss of items during installation.

• Osus Home is not responsible for uneven floors or cracked walls.

• The customer acknowledges that they have read and agreed to the terms and conditions and that the types and colors of the parquet and accessories listed on the invoice are their choice and that they have paid for them and are fully aware of their specifications and colors, taking into account that the accessories may not be 100% identical in color to the parquet and are close in color.

• In case of emergency conditions beyond the control of the company, it has the right to cancel the installation appointment and notify the customer, and a new appointment will be scheduled according to the company’s available schedule in coordination with the customer.

• The invoice amount must be paid in full before the installation date.

• In case there are any comments from the customer on the listed items during the invoice export, the seller must be notified, and the customer is not entitled to object to what is listed on the invoice after receiving it.

• If the customer does not respond to the installation team or sales department’s call before 24 hours of the agreed installation date, the appointment will be canceled, and a new date will be scheduled according to the schedule.

• If free installation is offered, it is necessary to purchase the product, slippers and accessories from Osus Home for Decor.

• When installing wallpaper, the wall must be matte white (without gloss – Jotun 03).

• In the case of wallpaper installation and the presence of old wallpaper, the old wallpaper must be removed, and a check must be done to see if the site needs painting.

• The installation technician determines the optimal and best method for installing various types of decorations that are compatible with the quality and installation guarantee.

• The patterns on the parquet panels are random and not designed to form specific patterns when installed.

• The door height should be 1.50cm above the ground for flooring installation.

• The dimensions plan is 90% accurate, and if there is an increase in dimensions, the additional amount is returned to the customer. If there is a shortage, the customer completes the shortage amount.

•The default Skirting that is calculated on the site calculator is either a wooden Skirting with a height of 8 cm or a white fiber Skirting with a height of 8 cm, depending on the customer’s choice. If the customer chooses a different Skirting than the previous ones, an additional cost will be calculated according to the type of Skirting chosen.
Free Installation Period: Free installation service is provided within two weeks from the invoice date.

Free Installation Exceptions: The free installation service does not include staircases. The cost for installing each step is determined based on the technician’s assessment.
Staircase Sales: Staircases are sold per step, not by meter.



Product Reservation
The company provides its customers with a storage service for goods for 45 days from the date of purchase by the customer. In case the storage period ends and the goods are not delivered or installed due to the customer’s delay, the invoice is automatically canceled, and the company has the right to dispose of the invoice contents or refund the invoice value to the customer according to the same return policy mentioned.


Warranty

• The purchase invoice is the warranty for all your purchases.

• All products installed by Osus Home are covered by warranty, which varies from one product to another as mentioned on the product card.

• The warranty does not cover the installation of parquet without spacers or padding.

• The warranty does not cover misuse, including but not limited to washing or rinsing the parquet with water, using chemicals, using flammable materials, scratches caused by iron, blades, sharp tools, etc.

• In case of a manufacturing defect in the product, the company takes the necessary measures and replaces the product after contacting the distributor and confirming the manufacturing defect within 30 days. The replacement is either in the same color or another color chosen by the customer, provided that it is the same price. The customer bears the price difference if they choose a more expensive product. Note that the company is not obligated to provide the same color if it is not available. Moving furniture (cabinets, sofas, tables, etc.), dismantling, and reinstallation are the responsibility of the customer, and the company cannot be held liable for any financial compensation.

• The warranty is void if external accessories are installed on the company’s product.

• If the product is transferred to another location by another company, the warranty is void.

• If the parquet is installed by another company, the installation warranty is void.

• Expansion and contraction are natural phenomena in wooden floors due to the difference in temperatures throughout the year and this may result in slight gaps that are not covered by the warranty.

Product Warranty

• Belgian parquet: 15-year warranty against discoloration.

• German parquet (8mm): 15-year warranty against discoloration.

• German parquet (7mm): 10-year warranty against discoloration.

• Turkish parquet: 10-year warranty against discoloration.

• Chinese parquet: 5-year warranty against discoloration.

• Chinese SPC waterproof parquet, 10-year warranty against discoloration, water, moisture and bacteria.

• Wall decor and accessories: 5-year warranty against discoloration.

• The warranty is void for commercial use if the installation is intended for residential use only (applies to Belgian parquet and 8mm German parquet).

Workmanship and Installation Warranty

• The warranty period is one full year from the date of installation.

• The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, neglect, accidents, or natural disasters.

Customer Responsibilities

• The customer must follow all maintenance instructions provided by Osus Home for Decor to keep the parquet in good condition.

• The customer must avoid exposing the floor to excessive moisture or water and clean the floor with appropriate products.

Reporting Defects

• The customer must report any installation defects within 30 days of discovery.

• The defect report must be submitted in writing with a detailed description of the issue and photos if possible.

Warranty Exclusions

• Damage resulting from installation by a third party.

• Damage resulting from structural changes to the building or floor modifications without consulting Osus Home for Decor.

• Damage resulting from the use of inappropriate or strong chemical cleaning products.

Warranty Cancellation

• The warranty is void if the parquet is altered or modified.

• The warranty is void for commercial use if the installation is intended for residential use only (applies to Belgian parquet and 8mm German parquet).

• The warranty is void if accessories not provided by Osus are used, as Osus does not guarantee installation due to the lack of expansion gaps.

• Osus installation team leaves a gap between the parquet and the wall to allow for proper expansion and contraction. The warranty is void if the customer does not want to leave the expansion gap or does not install expansion joints, and does not cover accessories if there is moisture in the wall.

• Expansion and contraction are natural in wooden floors due to temperature differences throughout the year, which may result in slight gaps not covered by the warranty.
